Meet Brandon Viera: Account Manager
This month, our team at Kelly Global Consultants had the pleasure of sitting down with one of our incredible team members, Brandon Viera. In this one-on-one conversation, we discussed life, business, and growth.
Born and mostly raised on Long Island, New York, the account manager moved to Woodbridge at the age of seven, where he resides currently. As for his childhood, he remembers the classic New York life. “I will never forget the experience of going to my first Yankee game with my dad,” says Viera, “it was such an amazing experience for me. My dream job was to be a professional baseball player.” As a kid, Viera was high energy and charismatic, similar to the man we see today. As for his involvement, Viera spent his time with the band throughout high school. “Band is highly competitive,” says Viera, “I was always competing for the highest position in my percussion section, so being competitive helped instill that nature into my personality. When I was recognized as a top percussionist, that singular feeling helped me realize that hard work pays off.”
When asked if he knew he would end up in this field, Viera responds with “I had no idea.” Little did he know, he would find a career that he thrived in. “The growth opportunity of the company drew me in,” says Viera, “the environment is friendly and inviting. All of us are fun to be around and I love the energy everyone brings here. I am very thankful that I found this opportunity.”
While he may not have expected it, Brandon Viera has always held the keys to success in this industry. “My greatest strength would be my social skills,” says Viera, “I am great at talking with people, and I feel like that is a quality not everyone has these days.” With our line of work, direct marketing & sales, we think it’s safe to say that Brandon is in the ideal field.
Within the next five years, Brandon Viera hopes to reach great success. The leader wants to own his own business, move back to New York, and then head to California. Recently, he traveled out to our client broker’s headquarters out in Los Angeles where he spent 3 days immersed in training and leadership seminars. This experience fueled something in Brandon, and he returned back to the Kelly Global Consultants headquarters fired up and ready to tackle the remaining requirements of our firm’s Management Program. With half of the year still to go, we find ourselves anxiously awaiting what Brandon will accomplish for our client, company, and himself. Stay tuned because this self-starter is getting some steam under his belt and not stopping there!
